Heaven's Calling ch1

I don't know how it happened or even why it happened, but I'm so happy it did!

It was an amazing day because this is the day I've been waiting for my whole life! Today was July, 17th. It was time for me to finally turn 18. 18 is the age you become an adult, when you get more freedom, when all together your life changes in a way

The first thought that came in my head when I woke up was 'oh my fucking god I'm 18!' I hopped out of bed and quickly headed to the bathroom trying to make as little noise as possible. I didn't want my mom to know I was awake. I could imagine what she would say, "my baby's all grown up. I can't tell her what to do anymore." Every year it would be a different speech with the same meaning. God how I hated that bull shit. I got out of the shower; blow dried my hair, rapped my towel around me, and headed to my bedroom.

My room wasn't anything special, yet people expected to find a dead body hidden in my closet, but honestly it was like any normal persons room. The only difference was the million Black Veil Brides posters and the couple here and there of Sleeping With Sirens, Asking Alexandria, and a couple more of which I have forgotten.

Andy Six was the person that occupied most of my room. He was my life, I loved him. If it wasn't for his beautiful lyrics and singing I wouldn't be here now. Black Veil Brides saved my life, of course it hasn't stopped the smoking, drinking, drug use, and cutting, it did stop the suicide attempts.

That was what I thought of as I did my make-up and teased my black hair that was layered, the bottom layer was pink. I walked to my closet to my closet and grabbed a pair of florescent green skinny jeans and a BVB shirt that was obviously too big for me. I grabbed my iPod and changed the song to beautiful remains. I walked to jewelry box and grabbed out my eyebrow ring, snake bites, angel bites, septum piercing, industrial bar, and a pair of dangly alien earrings. I also had my bellybutton pierced. I put my piercings in the throw on a hello kitty necklace followed by a bunch of BVB bracelets to cover my fresh new cuts from the previous night.

I walked over to my bed, bend down grabbed my bong and weed and smoked a little before I walked down stairs. I always loved that feeling, I loved being high it took the pain away, made me numb.

I started down the stairs when I was met by my mother. "Alycen Marie Wright first," my mother, Sammantha, started. "Happy birthday, let's go down stairs, open presents and get breakfast. And Alycen if you're going to smoke can you open the window, can you either open a window or at least spray fabreeze?" My mom had given up on trying to get me to quit smoking weed so now she just tries to get me to cover up the smell.

"Yes mom, will do." I started down the stairs again prepping for the speech because I knew it would come. I made my way to the table after tripping over my dog, Pikachu. I sat down and my mom brought me a cup of coffee. 'Oh shit' I thought to myself. 'Why now?'

"Alycen, you 18 now," my mom said as she started tearing up. "You're all grown up, but just know if you ever need anything from me I will always be here for you, and you will always be my little girl. Thank you for helping me stay strong through the years of being beat by your father then him just walking out on us. I know you hate these conversations every year, so I'll wrap it up. I love you baby girl, thank you so much, Now it's present time!" 'Thank fucking god' I thought to myself as my mom handed me my present. I opened it. I was the best in the whole world; my mom had gotten me 2 Black Veil Brides concert tickets.

"Oh my fucking god! Thank you so much! This is the best present in the whole world!!" I rapped my arms around my mom. I ran to my room grabbed my cigarettes, lighter, keys, phone, and iPod. I ran back down stairs and headed for the door.

"Alycen," my mom said as I opened for the door. "I love you, have a great night." My mom handed me a credit card. "That's the last present this year."

"Thank you mom," I walked out and headed for my car. I turned my phone on, I had 10 messages and they were all form the same person, Nichole. Nichole was my best friend in the whole world. Her messages said:

-Ho I love you happy birthday sexi bitch!-

-hey u up?-

-Call me when u get up I wanna buy u breakfast!-

-r u up yet?-

-wake up!!!-

-R u dead???? Jkjk get the hell out of bed missy!-

-stoner! Txt me baq-

-ahhhhhh! Ur soooo lazy!-

-get outa bed I wanna eat I'm starving!-

And there was one from my dick head boyfriend who broke up with me two days ago:

-Baby I'm sooo sorry I love you plz txt ne baq I want u baq-

I ignored Justin my exboyfriend, and texted Nichole.

-damn bitch! Do u have to txt me so much just give me the morning to chill nd be alone!

I'm jk I love u thnk u soo much I'll be at ur house in 5 mins love ya!-

I turned my iPod on and put perfect weapon on by BVB, light up a cigarette and I'm down the road


NICHOLE'S POV

Nichole when is Alycen going to be here I've got to go to work soon," Asked Jazmine, my mom.

"Mom she's going to be here any minute. Hey can you watch Paige for me tonight please?" I asked

"Why, what are you doing tonight?"

"I'm going to a concert with Alycen."

"Honey I'm sorry I just can't I have to work late tonight," Jazmine explained.  "I'm really sorry, honey."

"It's ok ill figure something out. Can you go check on Paige for me?"

"Yeah I'll be right back" Jazmine said as she walked out of the room.


ALYCEN'S POV

"Oh my god!" I yelled. I ended up burning my hand with my cigarette trying to throw it out the window as I pulled up to Nichole's house. I got out of the car and walked into her house. I never knock anymore, because I feel like I'm walking into my own house.

"Nichole?' I yelled

"Alycen! Happy birthday honey!" Nichole yelled

"Happy birthday, Alycen," Jazmine said walking into the room holding little Paige's hand. She had just turned 5 last week. She was adorable she was tall and slim for her age. She had super round cheeks, and curly blonde hair. She looked so much like her mom. Her mom was tall, well compared to short five foot three me she was tall. She was 5 foot 6 ½, she was also really thin with long blonde hair which was straight and teased. She had electric blue eyes. Paige had her mom's eyes; her curly hair came from her dad.

Nichole's baby daddy was 18 when he got Nichole pregnant at 13. Nichole told him and he bailed he didn't want a baby. He hasn't tried to get in contact even once to see how his child is. Nichole was happy he wasn't in their lives; it took her a long time to get that point though.

"Happy birfday auwntie Alie!!" yelled Paige running up to me and giving a big hug. "I wuv you auwntie alie!"

"I love you to baby girl," I said.

"I got to go to work Alycen, Jazmine said handing me an envelope. "Love you guys bye," she said as she walked out the door. We walked to the living room. Nichole put on SpongeBob for Paige. I opened my envelope, inside was a hundred dollar bill.

"Ugh, my mom can't watch Paige tonight for the BVB concert," Nichole said.

"How did you know about the BVB concert," I asked puzzled.

"Your mom told me so that I would have my night free but obviously I didn't do a good job with that."

"It's ok we can take her with us! Little kids under the age of 8 are free. Paige would make a really cute little scene BVB fan!"

"Are you sure?" Nichole asked

"Yes, let's get this little girl dressed and get breakfast."


Paige, Nichole and I were all outside my car. Paige was wearing a little BVB shirt and jeans. Nichole was wearing a green tank top and black skinnies. I put the car seat in my car and got in.

"Where do you guys want to go to eat?" I asked

"I want pizza!" Paige yelled

"What time is it, Nichole?"

"It's 12:16, darling," Nichole answered.

"Well let's go to Pizza Hut. Is that ok Nicki?'

"Yay!" Paige squealed.

"That's cool with me.' Nichole said

"Ok let's go! Do u mind if I smoke in the car Nicki?"

"Not if you roll all the windows down and give me one."

"Ok," I handed a cigarette to Nichole and I light my own. I drive down the road. We got to Pizza Hut and got out of the car. Nichole went and grabbed Paige out of the back of the car. I check my make-up in the mirror really quick and start heading inside. We ordered a large cheese pizza and go sit down.

"Mommy," Paige whispers.

"Yes Paige?"

"I need to go potty," Paige says. Nichole sighs and starts to stand up.

"Nicki I'll get her don't worry," I say standing up

"Are you sure?" Nichole asks

"Yes Hun I'll take her I'll be right back," I told her. I pick up Paige out of her booster seat and we head for the bathroom.

We got out and I almost screamed. Andy Sixx just walked into Pizza Hut. I dropped Paige's hand and she went running. She ran to Andy and gave his leg a huge hug.

"ANDY! ANDY! ANDY! ANDY!" Paige kept squealing while she clung to Andy's leg. I ran over to her and over to her and picked her up. "Auwntie its Andy Six!!!! He's from Black Veil Brides!"

"So who's this little BVB fan?" Andy asked

"This is my niece, her names Paige, her mom is over there at our table, and I'm Alycen." I said smiling trying to keep my voice calm and not shaky.

"So do you mind if I come sit with you guys? I don't really want to sit by myself." Andy asked.

"Yes you can," I almost screamed it. I was so glad I didn't. "Just keep cool you're with your idol the man you love don't blow it for yourself!' I kept telling myself as we walked to the table.

"OH MY GOD!! It's Andy Six!!" Nichole screamed. She had obviously not seen what had just happened. "I love you! Oh my god is Ashley here too??" She said looking around him.

"Don't mind here she's a little on the crazy side," I said jokingly and smiled. I sat down and Andy sat next to me really close.

"So what are you guys doing here?" Andy asked.

"I'm buying Alycen pizza for her birthday!" Nichole screamed.

"Um mommy can you please stwop yelling?" Paige asked. Nichole blushed in embarrassment.

"Happy birthday, cutie" Andy said. I couldn't help it this time I felt my face turn colors.

"Thank you," I had trouble making out the words.

"So how old did you turn today?"

"I'm 18."

"What do you plan on doing today?"

"I'm going to get some new clothes and then go to your concert."

"That's cool, are you guys going to the after party?"

"No, I can't get in." I said sadly.

"Oh well let me see your phone," he said. I handed it to him. "Text me after the concert and I'll come and get you and get you in" The waitress brought our pizza, we all grabbed some. Nichole still looked embarrassed as she ate. I gave Paige some; she ate it like somebody was going to take it from her.

"So can I get a picture of you to have in my contacts?" I asked nervously.

"Yeah let's take one together." Andy said.

"Sounds great." Andy took my phone and put his arm around me. I try hard not to blush. I smile and so does he.

"Say cheese!" he said then took the picture he saved it and made it his picture. "I've got to go get ready for the show. Don't forget to text me later." He gave me a hug and walked away. "Bye cutie!" he yelled.

"Bye," I said. I could barely make it a whisper. "Did that fer real just happen?" I asked Nichole.

"I think so," she said

"Auwntie and Andy sitting in a tree K.I.S.S.I.N.G," Paige said giggling. I get up grab Paige and started walking off.

"Let's go Nicki." I said. I put Paige in the car sear, light up a cigarette, roll the windows down, grab my phone out of my pocket, and go to the pictures. "I just got my picture taken with a god,' I thought to myself.
